"Stay Upright" Community Challenge - Day 1 Check-In

Hi Challenge buddies (aka. fellow uncoordinated/unbalanced fools πŸ˜‚),

Are you ready (not) to tumble and fall together? Our first workout is a very challenging lower body workout, that according to Kelli's very own description fits perfectly into the theme of our challenge: "Not only is this lower body workout effective for building a great butt and thighs, it's also great for core strength, balance, and coordination."

Have you done this one before? I have, but only once a couple of months ago. I'm excited to try it again and maybe add some ankle weights to the pilates exercises... We'll see. 😊

To round our workout out, we've got a warm up and a nice relaxing long cool down. If you want a shorter workout and/or don't care about flexibility work, you could choose a shorter one. πŸ˜‰

And to top it all off, you've got the option of completing an optional 10 min. HIIT workout that looks like it should challenge your balance too, either before or after the main workout, and the extra credit burn-out round for today is a bodyweight 10 min. workout that requires you to balance a lot on one leg while the other is moving. Sounds like a nice FB torturous fun (or fun torture?), right?

If you're reading this and wondering what it is all about, we're starting a new 2-week community challenge today, focusing on balance, coordination, functional strength and flexibility. You can join for the all thing or just for a few days if you wish. And please adjust everything so that it suits you. The point is to have fun together, and switch things up a bit.
