What to expect: sweat & fun combined! Yes, you will sweat A LOT. A LOT. But honestly, nothing compares to that feeling when you hear âWorkout completeâ and the shower afterwards.
I tried to stay on schedule (took me 6 weeks), but there were days when I felt sore or I just wasnât really feeling like working out. However, even when I didnât feel like working out, instead of giving up I just did some independent workout from my Favorites list (Iâll post some down below if you havenât tried them yet-spoiler alert: they are AMAZING). The program can be quite a challenge, but itâs a good kind of challenge. I havenât tried most of the workouts from the program before, so it was really interesting to push myself and try exercises that I would normally stay away from.
What itâs really important to remember, wherever you are right now with your fitness journey, is that you need to keep in mind your âwhyâ. Why are you doing this. For me, it wasnât really about losing weight. I havenât measured myself or weighted myself. I suffered from an eating disorder in my teens so even now before starting working out again, I told myself that I would do it for the right reasons and I would try my best to stay away from any toxic habit that might trigger something from my past. Iâm still afraid to use a calories counter app just because I donât feel like Iâm ready for that yet. So, I tried my best not to focus that much on counting calories and just eat clean. I know calories are important, but I mostly tried to look for the nutritional value of each meal. Therefore, I canât tell you if I lost any weight or if my numbers dropped. What I can tell you is that I havenât felt this confident, happy and full of life in a very long time. Iâve also gained so much more strength in my muscles. From a person who suffers from depression, I canât tell you how thankful I am to K & D for this!
Just keep in mind your âwhyâ, because motivation can only lead you so far and after a while you will need to remind yourself why you chose this lifestyle and soon discipline and habit will settle in your daily schedule.
Thank you Kelly and Daniel for everything you do for this community. Iâll probably try FB Mass next!! Really excited about that one too.
