New Free 5-Day Challenge - Day 1: Lower Body Strength with Kelli & Daniel

Happy New Year FB Family!

Today marks not only the first day of 2023 but the first day of the new free Fitness Blender 5-Day Challenge. To get this year started off right, we are publishing a new free workout video each morning for the first week of January; five days of intense workouts, 1 recovery day workout, and a rest day meditation. We are so excited to be able to offer this new challenge, and we are really excited that we were able to build it with our team. It's going to be a fun week! 

Find the 5-Day Challenge here and add it to your calendar so that you can reschedule and mark complete like our other programs. This is our first free calendarable challenge — hopefully this makes it even easier to use and complete. If you enjoy this 5-day challenge, we have also released a brand new 4 Week FB Strong Program (Round 3) that uses 4 weeks of fresh workouts and the same training style as the free 5-day challenge. This new program uses a unique Plus workout every day (no repeat workouts). If you feel like you could use some support in the nutrition department, I recommend also checking out our new Meal Plan to Refuel and Recover after Strength Workouts. This week long plan was developed by a dietitian, specifically to support the training style found in the new FB Strong Challenge and Program.

Day One
We kick off Day 1 with a Lower Body Strength Workout featuring both of us (Kelli and Daniel). Though we think we are pretty ridiculous in our joint workouts, you say you like it when we workout together, so… Enjoy the burn in your legs from the workout and the burn in your belly from laughing at us.

Start your Day 1 workout here: Fitness Blender 5 Day Challenge Day 1: Lower Body Strength Training (40 Minutes)

This is a 40 minute workout that uses back to back lower body supersets to challenge the muscles and the lungs. There's a fun bored easily style round that can be modified to lean toward either pure strength, or a HIIT style cardio burnout: decide what you want to focus on most and what will best serve your needs today. We provide low impact and advanced modifications all the way through. Warm up and cool down are included, and you don't necessarily need any equipment — but dumbbells definitely help take it up a notch.
