Daily Check-in: Tuesday, April 14th. #StayConnected Challenge WEEK 2, DAY TWO!

How is it going, FB Fam? All the highs and hellows to you on this Twofer Tuesday. I've got you two red flowers for the price of one check-in! On the left we have a Coral Bean plant, and on the right is a Coral Honeysuckle. Both have coral in the name, and have very similar looking flowers that are cardinal red, but these wild flowers are not related. The Coral Bean is a small shrubby plant has has flowers before leaves and also produces poisonous (especially to rodents and fish) bean looking seeds, while the Coral Honeysuckle is a woody vine that eventually has berries that, while not technically poisonous, you still can not eat ..The birds like it and can have it all, so good for them.. They should be as happy as a....bird eating seeds and berries.

But let's get a little happy ourselves, hopefully coming to you in the form of workouts! How are we going about that on your Tuesday? We are "officially" on week 2, day two of the challenge. I've put officially in quotes, because this time frame is entirely a guideline. You can be behind or ahead, modifying, or doing something else; and that is perfectly okay! I encourage, as K&D encourage, to make that movement work for you. So don't feel any pressure to push beyond your comfort zone whatsoever. We are all just trying to make exercise enjoyable and also feel connected by doing similar workouts, but really, we are all kinda connected here at the community just by talking about all the different sweats we have going on. And yes, lounging in sweat pants too^^

Okay, with all that said, let's get to what the #StayConnected challenge has for us on week 2, day two.

^ I'm pretty excited to try this one! Upper body is a little toasted from yesterday, so I'm ready to work the lower body today. And if you try this or any day of the challenge, I'd love to hear what you think. And whatever else you are doing in the world of workouts, share away!

Going right to food now. You know what to do; share what's cooking! I did not have my sweet potato and black bean tacos yesterday, but I did pressure cook up a bunch of black beans. And with those black beans I made a chili with a bit of red curry paste thrown in there. Talk about a game changer. It was pretty spicy darn good; so tonight I think I'm going to mix that chili with some brown rice and sweet potato and put that on a wrap, and bam! There's my taco for Tuesday. Totally riffing my dinner here, but that sounds yummy. So, what's your yummy? 🎶Pour those foodie plans on me!🎶 (I can't help myself. I wired weird.)

And before I forget, happy birthday to Korse! I may have read from the weekend check-in that you mentioned you had a birthday. So, I hope you have a good day and enjoy the 1000 calorie workout if you try it. Nothing like the self gifting gift of sweat.

Alright, a new day, new possibilities. Let's see what this day has for us, yeah? Maybe you are a the water break part of the day, or putting the day to sleep. Whatever time your eyes read this, I hope your Tuesday has and had good things for you. If not, at the very least, keep on staying safe and move on to fight another day!
