The new 4 Week Fitness Blender Low Impact Program for Fat Loss - Round 2 is now live and whether you are here because you are a big fan of FB Low Impact Round 1 or you just want to learn more about Round 2, you are in the right place. Whatever reason you are here, get ready to learn the ins and outs of why this is an amazing workout program.
Is this just for Beginners?
The first thing you should know is that though this program is low impact it is not just for beginners. Because strength training falls under low impact the difficulty of the routine can be adjusted by the amount of weight you lift and for the workouts that don’t center around strength training we have carefully selected videos that show modifications of the exercises to make them easier or more difficult. What that means is whether you are a beginner or have been exercising for years and just want to skip the jump squats, and star jumps, this program will work equally well for either fitness level.
Should I do the Round 1 Low Impact Program first?
The second most important thing to know is that if you are new to Fitness Blender programs know that you can do them in any order. Just because this is “Round 2” doesn’t mean you need to do the original first. Each of our programs are designed to be standalone programs so you can jump in on whichever “Round” you want.
What is this program like?
If you have done the first FB Low Impact then you will be happy to know that this program has a similar feel overall but with new videos and new training combinations. For those of you who are new to this program style here is what you can expect. This program’s main training types are strength training, Pilates, low impact cardio and low impact HIIT (High Intensity Interval Training). This program lasts for 4 weeks if the workouts are done consecutively but you can always go at your own pace and still get great results. Even if you complete this program a few days at a time, it’s still beneficial and effective (particularly when paired with healthy eating).
By the time you are done you will notice an improvement in your strength, tone, cardiovascular and muscle endurance, balance, flexibility, coordination and of course, reduction of body fat.
How much do I have to workout?
Each week consists of 6 planned workout days; day 6 being an optional recovery workout, and remember you can always take extra rest days as needed. Each day’s workout averages out to 34 minutes but some days may be a bit longer and others a bit shorter. Some days will also have an option that will let you choose which workout you do that day, and others even have extra credit options incase you are feeling good that day and want to challenge yourself a bit more.
What do I need to do this program?
To complete this program we recommend a set of dumbbells but it can still be challenging just working against your own muscles. Some other items you might want to have on hand are an exercise mat and a weight bench but ultimately you really only need an internet connection and the willpower to show up for yourself each day.
Can I use this program more than once?
Those of you who have used our programs before already know the answer to this of course but if you are new to Fitness Blender Programs let me be very clear, you can reuse this program (or any of our programs) as many times as you like. In fact some of our members have used the same program well into the double digits. As long as you keep your free Fitness Blender account open your purchased programs will be there for you to use.
Do I need FB Plus?
This program doesn’t need FB Plus as it works through the calendar system on your free FitnessBlender.com account. Your free Fitness Blender account has a calendar system that allows you to schedule (and reschedule) your purchased programs and allows you to mark workouts and days “complete” to track your progress through programs. It even allows you to add Fitness Blender workouts individually to track what you do on what day. FB Plus provides extra features that will add even more to your experience, including detailed personal workout statistics, the ability to add & track custom workouts, save notes on each workout and extra, exclusive workout videos. It's a great way to stay on track, and motivate you to push through the program.
