Overview

Welcome to Bodyweight Burn! This is a 5-day spin-off of our popular FB Bodyweight 4-week Challenge, but with 5 brand new workouts. With a mix of strength training, HIIT, cardio, and mobility, you'll build total body strength and endurance with workouts averaging a level 3-4 difficulty. This versatile 5-day challenge can be done from anywhere, whether you complete it in your own living room, out in the sunshine, or in a hotel room from your latest travel spot.

Who is this challenge for?
This challenge is great for intermediate to advanced level exercisers who want to build their functional strength and endurance using the power of their own bodyweight. Bodyweight exercises require control, stability, and often greater muscle activation than dumbbell exercises. If you shy away from bodyweight workouts for that reason, perhaps this could be a good challenge for you! Whether you are completing this during a week of travel, regularly enjoy bodyweight workouts, or simply want a change of pace in your programming — I know you'll find this to be a fun and challenging week of workouts!

What to expect:
This challenge consists of 5 workouts varying between strength training, cardio, mobility, and HIIT. Most workouts are a level 3-4, with the exception of one level 2 workout on the final day. Expect some fire in this challenge — bodyweight exercises can often feel more challenging due to the amount of functional strength, control, and stability required. I know those that take on this challenge will walk away feeling very powerful after 5 days of this work!

Challenge Overview:
Day 1: Lower Body with HIIT Intervals [38 min | level 4]
Day 2: Upper Body and Core Strength [41 min | level 4]
Day 3: Moderate-Intensity Cardio [35 min | level 3]
Day 4: Total Body MetCon [34 min | level 4]
Day 5: No Repeat Glute and Core Stability [32 min | level 2]

Equipment: No equipment is needed, except an optional mat for some floor-based work.

While bodyweight workouts can feel like some of the most challenging, I also think they come with the greatest reward. As you take on this 5-day Bodyweight Burn Challenge, and experience all that your body is capable of, I encourage you to lean into a sense of gratitude that your body is able to move in this way.
