Rescheduling workouts/skipping recovery days

I take programs at my own pace, so I rarely feel like I need the recovery workout on the day that it's scheduled. This can really throw off the calendar. For example, I completed day 5 of FB Abs 2 yesterday, so my calendar workout today was recovery/day 6. I wanted to skip recovery and go straight to day 8/the first day of week 2. I tried to reschedule day 8, but I got an error message saying I "can't move backwards over another program day." I did the day 8 workout anyway, and I know the calendar will eventually even out, but it's annoying to not check the workout complete box. Has anyone found a solution to this? Or can anyone commiserate?
