Beginner Strenght Training

Hey guys, can you please recommend me some good strenght training videos from beginners? I'm new to this stuff and I feel kind of lost when I try to search for myself, so anything would be helpful. Also this might be a very stupid question, but is rougly 1000 calories per day enough for me to build up some muscle? If you have any tips on how to get fit I'll be glad to read them!
