Daily Check-in: Saturday, November 10th, FB Pizza Party: Rd 2 Continues!

Hello! And Happy Weekend Blenders!

How are you all feeling on this fine day?

I'm doing pretty good! I'm enjoying the snow (even though it's very cold today with a bit of wind!), and thinking that I might have to put up my Christmas tree today.

And don't forget about our FB Pizza Party: Rd 2 that's happening right now! It lasts until about tomorrow (Sunday, November 11th), and all you gotta do to join in is either make or buy your favorite kind of pizza, snap a pic, and share it in a post titled "FB Pizza Party: Rd 2", and it'll be almost like we're all sharing a meal together! You can share recipes too if you make your own! And it can be literally any kind of pizza: "traditional" pizza, pizza bagels, dessert pizzas, pizza casserole, etc. etc.

I plan on making my pizzas tomorrow, and I can hardly wait! In the meantime, I look forward to seeing even more pizzas over the course of the weekend!

Alright, let's get back to today! Are you guys working out today, or are you resting?

Since I took an unplanned rest day on Thursday, I'm gonna get caught up with my workouts today! I got my #WorkoutCompleteForK&D with a lower body strength training yesterday (and boy, do I feel it!), so today is this upper body strength workout with Kelli:

And with this workout (other than the recovery workout), I'll round out my first week of Strong--which means I'll be doing week 2 of Abs Rd 2 starting Monday! So far, I'm thoroughly enjoying the alternating programs! It's fun, and keeps me on my toes!

And what about some #eatrealfood going on today (if you aren't having pizza, that is! haha)?

Tonight, I'm going to attempt to make orzotto. Like a risotto with orzo. I'm thinking with mushrooms, maybe lemon and basil too? I've never made it before, so it'll be an experiment (that I hope works). If it doesn't work, it'll be ok, and I'll have a chance to redeem myself with pizzas tomorrow. haha

Well Blenders, I'm going to quit while I'm ahead with my rambling, and go grab another cup of coffee, snuggle some dogs, and watch the snow! I hope you all have a lovely Saturday (or Sunday), and I'll check in with you tomorrow! (I know I said recently that I'd combine weekend posts into one, but how can I do that with a Pizza Party going on?! haha)
