Increase intensity if can’t do high impact?

I finally got to a point where I could do the high impact moves and I was enjoying it, even squat jumps and lunge jumps. My left leg not so much it turns out. For the last week I’ve subbed in low impact modifications, but I increased intensity. I want to keep making progress on my fitness journey. Will low impact but still at high intensity be enough?
