FB Booty Round 2 / Questions about deadlifts

Hello all! My name is Leah, I'm 22, and I have been using fitness blender for about 6 months now, after never really being committed to fitness except for four years of dance that I did in high school. I purchased FB Booty Round 2 and I just finished my third week.

One thing that I noticed is that I'm not really feeling much soreness in the last two weeks. I understand that I have to up the weight I'm using - I believe my form for most exercises is pretty sound - but is soreness really a good indicator of whether or not you've worked your body well?

Another question I have is how to properly perform a deadlift. I'm not really sure where I should be "feeling it" in a deadlift, especially since I'm usually feeling a burn in my abs and lower back when I do them. Does anybody have any advice on form for deadlifts?
