Anyone noticed this with burpees/kickouts?

I was just curious if anyone else does this or noticed it. When I do burpess or kickout or wallkouts, I start basically on the tips of my fingers then move my palms to the floor. I don't know if this is a bad thing or not. Is it something I should avoid, or something my body dose b/c my arms aren't quite long enough at the start of the movement? Worried if it can cause shoulder issues down the rd.... any ideas? Thanks!
