Daily Check-in: Thursday, August 30th

Hello Blenders!

How are you all doing today?

We had a really nice cool day yesterday after the storms (high of 67 (F) and low of 45 (F)), and it's kind of lingering into today. Feels very Fall-like, and I love it.

I did learn, however, that the storm damage was much more extensive than previously thought. I guess the end result of the storm was there were at least three EF0 tornadoes, and 75-90 mph straight line winds. Some areas look as if they've been bombed due to all the flattened trees. Crazy, crazy stuff.

Anyway, I'll quit droning on about the storms today. I know some of you East Coasters are dealing with extreme heat and humidity. Please try to stay cool as best you can, and hydrate, hydrate, hydrate!
