Is there such thing as a "recovery" cardio?

Hi, everyone.

It seems that I'm getting back on track again with my workouts after a really shitty year with a lot of ups & downs.

Now I'm trying to follow FB burn 2 because it's easier that way but also hard because I'm not that fit as I used to be. You know that in the programs there are always these cardio days after a really tough day of hiit and/or strength. They usually call it "recovery cardio" but they are rather a lot of effort on sore muscles to me. My first impulse is to postpone them but they seem a bit "easy" when your muscles have already healed...

So, I wonder what do you do in these cases, because if I skip days it's harder for me to stick to the program.

Or maybe it's just me who has a hard time with cardio ... 😁 How can you recover working out again?
