Fitness Test was worse the second time?

Hi all. I have just finished my first programme, the low impact 4 week fat burn. I did my fitness test on the first day and have just done it again on the last day a month later.

I was upset to see that my results were either the same or worse!? I did really well on the programme and seem to have toned up and lost weight but this has made me question everything. Does anyone have any advice as to why this might be? Thanks!

Day 1 test:

1 mile: 10.10 (avergae pace 7.43)

1/2 push ups (note I wasnt doing these right): 15

full push ups: 0

squats: 20

plank: 30 sec

flexibility: -26cm

Day 30:

just over 1 mile: 10 min (average pace 5.45)

1/2 push ups: 10

full push ups: 0

squats: 30

plank: 33 secs

flexibiity: 26cm
