Today I have my first fitness test but anxiety sets in

Hi Everyone

So today i should be starting my fitness test for the first time but i am finding it really difficult to push myself. As a bigger guy i prefer to workout alone at home where no one can see me, but today i have a do the 1 mile run for the fitness test. I don't have a treadmill and no tracks anywhere close to home.

Does anyone else get major anxiety or feel really self-conscience about running in public? If so how do you get over that because right now I am finding it so hard to get over that hurdle. As someone that was bullied relentlessly as a kid for his size it never goes away and i need to take my mind off it to make the journey.
