My thighs are getting too bulky

I know everyone says that lifting won't make you bulky but I find my thighs a little too big for my preference. I've been googling and lots of people are saying that if you want smaller thighs you should not lift heavy OR do HIIT, but I love both of those. HIIT workouts are actually my favorite.

Sooo, what to do? I'm doing a little bit less of lower body weight training now (1-2x a week) and more pilates. I use resistance bands for more challenge. I am still doing HIIT but I'm also doing some lighter cardio. Do you think my thighs will stay the same if I don't increase the amount I'm lifting? It may sound stupid to some of you but I just don't want them to get bigger.
