Strength Training with Treadmill or Cardio/HIIT?

My workouts typically include walking on my treadmill at 10% incline at 3.5mph for 20 minutes and then completing a strength training FB video. Do you think doing a cardio/HIIT FB video along with the strength training FB video would be more effective? On my days off from FB videos, I usually hike anywhere from 1-3 hours.

I am currently at a healthy weight for me height so my goal is to gain/tone muscle and lose a couple of extra pounds.
