Weights too light?

Hi guys! I just started the FB Burn program and am loving it so far! I have one question regarding my weights. At home I have 16lbs, 11lbs, 7lbs and 3lbs of dumbells. It seems pretty challenging to me , but I recognize how Daniel and Kelli use heavier weights specifically for movements like deadlifts or squats. While doing deadlifts with my 16lbs per hand, I'm afraid that they're not effective, as I'm not lifting as heavy. Should I switch to other movements or do you guys think that they're still effective?
