Customizing your FB program calendar

Hello Fitness Blender community! I'm pretty new to FB and am heading into my final week on the Low Impact program. I feel great and have loved having my calendar all planned out for me. I plan to start FBStrong next. However, as someone relatively new to lifting weights, working out 6 days per week has been challenging. Even when the upper body and lower body workouts alternate, they still feel like total body workouts to me and I'm questioning whether I'm getting enough rest. I'm thinking of adjusting my FBStrong calendar to be 4 times per week so I can really give my all during my workouts. Has anyone else done this? Will this impact the effectiveness of the program or the quality of my results? Thanks for your advice!
