I hope you all are well. I'm settling back into a routine of planning and filming workouts after taking a summer break with my kids.
As a mom of 3 young kids who has always worked year-round, this felt really special to take some time to unplug my "work brain" and pour into my family.
We enjoyed exploring local parks and trails, library events, cooling off in the pool, and hanging out with family and friends. Lots of fun, adventure, and of course... chaos!
My exercise routine suffered at the beginning as we transitioned but, once we found a rhythm, my consistency restored and I was quickly reminded of how much fitness helps my sanity, patience, and day to day movements. 30-minute routines were my best friend during naptime and I utilized many workouts from our very own FB library!
Very thankful to the FB team for allowing me this time off. Now, it's time to turn my work brain back on - which I'm so excited for as I love the work I get to do!
As far as what I'm working on... I kicked things off by joining in episode 12 of the Trainer Talk Podcast, released in September. I am also busy planning a 10-Day Challenge where I'm collaborating with another member of the team (can you guess who that might be?). It'll release later this year and I think so many of you will benefit from it!
Lots of good things to come.
I know we're a little past summer, but I'd love to hear one fun memory from your summer. Share it below!
