I've watched this video several times and have been scheduling workouts for a while, but I'm starting to wonder if I might be overlooking something. My question doesn't come up in the article.
In my schedule Monday is upper body strength training, Tuesday is lower body strength, Wednesday is HIIT, Thursday is total body, and so on. Over a month's four Mondays, I do four different upper body strength videos, over the four Tuesdays, four different lower body strength videos etc. I was assuming different workouts targeting the same muscles challenge them slightly differently, which was a positive. Because I love so many different workout videos I may not reschedule a specific video until months later.
But I've recently read that doing a different workout video every day is actually not beneficial, and that for strength training in particular, I should return to the same workout to target the exact same muscles within a shorter time.
Can anyone shed some light on what is more effective?
