Lifting 2x-4x Week

With the newest program just released, (Simply Strong) the cadence is lower, hit, upper, cardio, total.

With other programs its lower, upper, core, upper lower.

Along those lines. What I'm getting at- which is more effective? The best bang for my buck- my time- I do like the sprinkles of hit, mobility and cardio, but are my.muscles being maxed the way they could vs a split? (I was thoroughly worked when I finished this last program so I'm not doubting the method lol)
