Working out while Nursing

Hey fellow Fitness Blenders,

I’ve started the new Simply Strong program and I’m already loving it! Anyone else feeling so empowered?

Yesterday was a 22 minute HIIT workout with Tasha and I was huffing and puffing. I did not think I was capable of doing HIIT yet as I’m still getting back into working out and need to work on improving at cardio. But just 22 minutes including a warmup and cool down had to be doable, especially with only simple moves. So I completed the workout and felt AMAZING.

My problem is that today I found myself staining. I’m nursing a toddler and haven’t gotten my period since giving birth over a year ago. I’ve read that heavy exercise and jumping can cause you to start bleeding. I know it’s not a problem, but I really don’t want to get my period now.

Is anyone else in this position and have advice. Even if not I’d appreciate your thoughts.
