I just wrapped up filming a brand new workout, and this one is such a fun challenge because we're mixing two of my favorite interval styles into one workout:
We kick things off with an ascending ladder, where you'll tackle each exercise for 10, 20, and then 30 seconds. Those first 10 seconds are your chance to move with speed and power, while the longer intervals challenge you to stay strong as fatigue starts to set in.
Then we shift into a Tabata-inspired HIIT, keeping you moving with 20 seconds of work and just 10 seconds of rest. Expect a combination of strength, cardio, agility, and plenty of opportunities to get your heart rate up!
I'd rate this one a Level 4 because of the explosive movements and minimal recovery but remember, you are always in control of the intensity. Remove the jumps, slow your pace, or take extra rest whenever you need it. A great workout is one that meets you where you are today.
If you're looking for a quick workout that will leave you feeling strong, sweaty, and energized, this one's for you.
Which HIIT format do you enjoy more: ladder workouts or Tabata? I love how the ladder lets you build into each movement, but there's something so satisfying about the fast pace of Tabata. 😅
