New Workout! Lower Body Descending Strength Intervals

Hey everyone! Your latest workout was a bit of a collaboration in getting it to you; Nicole wrote the workout, and I got to lead you through it! I kept it as close as I could to how it was originally written, with some minor tweaks (mainly due to natural interpretation). We can thank Nicole for this serious lower body burn!

Lower Body Descending Strength Intervals

This workout is a true strength-focused session with a smart descending interval format that keeps things challenging from start to finish. You’ll move through the same circuit for three rounds, gradually shortening the work and rest time while increasing your weights - so it almost feels like you’re building intensity as you go. It’s a great way to focus on solid, controlled strength while really dialing in your effort and pushing your lower body in a purposeful way.

Our time together includes a 5-minute warm-up, 3 descending rounds of a 7-exercise circuit, and finishes with a short but fiery glute burnout that will absolutely leave you feeling it 🔥  (cool down to follow). You’ll want a range of weights (light to heavy) and some extra padding for the burnout section. Rated around a level 4, this one is all about being intentional with your weight choices and staying adaptable. Come back to it, refine your approach, and watch your strength build each time you complete it!

Who is looking to push through a strength plateau? This formatting is sure to switch things up and challenge you in a whole new way!

See you there,

xxErica
