New 30-Day Team Challenge! Welcome to Week 1, Day 1 of FB Momentum!
Good morning FB Family!
If you’ve been looking for a structured program that will ignite your motivation for movement and encourage you to enjoy the process along the way, our latest 30-day team challenge is a great option for getting the ball rolling on creating some new training habits:
Over the course of 4 weeks, you’ll tackle all new and progressively challenging workouts (5 workouts each week!) to help build your physical foundation in strength training, HIIT (high intensity interval training), cardio, and mobility work. Each week also has a different mental health focus to help you create positive behavioral practices and mindset shifts to bolster your new/improved training habits. Below is a sneak peek at Week #1 of training:
We start the challenge with a lower body strength/HIIT combo workout that is easily customizable to fit your current training needs, fitness level, and goals:
These two complementary training focuses not only help improve overall leg strength and the ability to accommodate differing energy demands, they’re also a fun, confidence booster for kicking off a new training program! As always, I had a ton of fun creating and filming this workout. Thinking of new ways to keep you motivated and progressing towards your fitness goals never gets old. Trust me, there are an infinite number of ideas in my brain, haha.
Approach this first week of training with an open mind and have some patience with yourself! Whether you’re returning to training from a break or you’ve been consistently moving your body, this challenge is a great opportunity to practice habit-building/stacking while improving your fitness. Throughout this first week, take some time to clarify your training goals (Haley has some pointers for you!) and lean into the “feedback not judgment” mentality to identify movement preferences and opportunities for growth.
Are you excited? What are you looking forward to the most during this challenge? Do you have any training goals? Let us know in the comment section below!
