60 year old beginner ... where to start?

Hi. I'm a recently retired guy who's led a fairly sedentary lifestyle, both at home and at the work office. I'd like to focus on building strength, but avoiding injury by going too hard or too fast at the beginning. I'm open to try any type of workout as long as it's targeted to either my age range, or at least beginners. I have some basic exercise equipment (mat, bench, dumbbells, bands, etc).

I'd love some suggestions on where to start.
