New Workout! Total Body Tabata HIIT Cardio Resistance
Good morning! ☀️
About 30 minutes in total (with warm up and cool down included), we complete total body Tabata HIIT cardio exercises while adding resistance to the upper and lower body with the use of (optional) light dumbbells and a resistance band loop. While this is a cardio-focused workout, the 2 added forms of resistance (in addition to your body weight), gives those muscles an extra chance to be involved and brings improved coordination benefits!
Following our 15-minute Tabata workout, we do a 5-minute core finisher using our band to hone in on the stability and strength of the midsection.
I liked that the addition of the light weights and band jazzed up the cardio to make it more fun and engaging - the mind sure has to stay in the zone, too!
