First off - thank you, as always, for all the amazing work you do! 💙
Today I had an idea for a small ‘add-on style’ program series that focuses on strengthening specific body parts, including mobility work.
The idea came to me because I have an iffy back and often try to tack on some freestyle back exercises at the end of workouts. But honestly, I’m soooo much better at actually doing the work when an FB program tells me what to do!
What I’m imagining:
A series of short (1–2 week) programs, each targeting a different body area (strength and/or mobility and/or stretching), with one focused on total body mobility. Each workout would be just 5–10 minutes long, so they could easily be added to other full-length programs without significantly increasing overall time or workload.
The series (if it ever became one!) could include things like:
1. Back strengthening and stretching (ohhh how I’d love this one!)
2. Knee prehab add-ons
3. Hip mobility and stability
4. Total body mobility
5. Mini core-focused add-ons
6. Evening wind-down mobility and stretching
7. Pre-workout warm-up minis (for those of us who need a little longer to warm up or who have desk jobs)
8. Balance and proprioception drills
I know there are already some shorter mobility routines (thinking of FB mobility), but many still require a larger time investment (FB mobility is often 20+ mins). I love the idea of a collection of short, specific add-on programs that people can mix and match, or consistently use to support areas that need ongoing attention.
I realize you’re already flooded with suggestions, but I just wanted to throw this out there. I’d also love to hear what the rest of the community thinks - does this sound appealing to anyone else? Any ideas for other add-ons you'd want to see in this series?
