We’re targeting the total body in this workout with dynamic kettlebell style movements like swings, cleans, and windmills along with more traditional strength work like goblet squats and rows. We move quickly so your heart rate will be up the entire time; expect a good balance of sweat, strength, and endurance (AKA metabolic conditioning!).
For the main part of our workout, we have 22 exercises completed just one time for 45 seconds on, 15 seconds off. I suggest having a few weight selections handy (dumbbells work too) from medium to heavy; I’ll be using between 15-30lb and keep you in the loop as to what I’m using throughout.
If you’re new to kettlebell training, I recommend trying our Kettlebell Swing Boot Camp workout first to establish proper movement patterns for swinging a weight around.
It’s no secret that I LOVE kettlebell workouts. It must be my inner athlete that gets to come out to play and feel powerful OR the mix of strength and cardio, which is always a win in my book. I thought the Bored Easily format was a fun addition to this training type and was surprised I hadn’t created one yet. Hope you enjoy it as much as me!
