Why are the rest periods on FB strength training video's always so short?

Most research on strength training suggests that it's best to rest for 30 seconds between sets at the very least, but 1,5 to 3 minutes is even better, especially for compound moves. You want to give your body time to recover, so you can actually lift heavy instead of just moving some weights around for the fun of it.

Many videos here have only 15 seconds of rest between sets, and I have to pause the video every time for a proper rest break. This isn't that much of an issue, but I just don't get it. Unless you're solely working out for endurance, it's just counterproductive. Maybe some of the experts here can weigh in?
