Trying to lose weight in the 40s

Hi! I’ve done Fitness Blender off and on for years. I just signed up for FB Plus. Over the last couple years, I have turned 40 and had a lot of stressful life changes causing me to gain 25 pounds fast. My doctor did hormone testing and said the majority of my issues (trouble sleeping, inability to lose weight, low libido) come from not managing stress well.

I would love to lose this fat and need a program that does not incorporate cardio because it’s too much a stress on my body right now. I love to walk and hike and those are encouraged, thankfully.

Any suggestions? And any stories of people like me who have had success trying to recover from stress? I love reading testimonials. 🙂
