Ideas for adapting FB programs

Has anybody adapted the FB programs to their schedules or just creates their own workout schedules? I have been loving FBStrong but some days I can't even fit in the 40ish minutes and decide to do a quicker workout, and some days I am just in the mood to do something different than what is scheduled. I tend to be an over thinker when it comes to exercise. I am trying to be more of an intuitive exerciser, but also want to be doing workouts on an effective schedule. I like the programs because they give you a promising track to follow but when they don't fit my schedule I can never seem to get all of the way through. Any ideas?
