Do I have to do hiit

I just wondered on what peoples thoughts were, there might even be an article on this, if not be good to have one!

I know it’s important to keep the body guessing and mixing it up , but the older I get the less I like hiit. In fact if it’s scheduled I sometimes don’t work out as I can’t face it. Im 42 and on medication which makes me sleepy, which I find very frustrating as I feel it stops me reaching my fitness goals. In fact it’s probably the medication that’s the problem more than age.

Do you think strength training, Pilates and walking (when it’s weather) would be enough?

I also really want to do a PT but with the way things are now - re tiredness due to medication - I can’t get it started! That way I could answer my own questions 😂

Any thoughts would be appreciated, I googled it and it’s all contradictory, as per 🙈
