New Plus Workout: Unilateral Pure Strength with Kettlebell

Good morning, Blendiez!

Is unilateral training a necessary evil or absolute must-have in your fitness journey? Find out with our newest release:

Unilateral Kettlebell Strength

This workout is a quick and dirty introduction to unilateral training using a kettlebell. Did you know that supplementing your workouts with single arm kettlebell training recruits different core muscles than if you were to use both arms? It’s true - and one of the reasons why experts suggest a combination of unilateral and bilateral training. Using kettlebells is also recommended for anti-rotation training in runners, swimmers, and cyclists.

Our DPT-led workouts have focused on a number of health conditions, body regions, and movement impairments, but this is one of our first videos emphasizing prehab, or preventative rehabilitation. Perhaps equally important, or even more so, than traditional fitness workouts, prehab is more than warding off injury. It’s about teaching you how to get out of pain, optimize movement, and perform at your best. My goal is to show you that prehab is anything but boring!

Let us know in the comments below if you think a prehab challenge might benefit you. What conditions or ailments should we include?
