Long Trek Preparation Advice :)

Hi everyone!

I'm planning on doing a very long Trek, Approx 10 days long. I will be carrying my own backpack, tent, etc. It will likely take place in November so i got time to train.

I have been working out consistently since last year and my legs are quite strong i would say, but i want them to get stronger in order to avoid any injuries.

So far, the FB programs i've completed are (more than once some of them and not in this order):

- FB mass

- FB strong

- FB Booty round 1 + Flex

- FB Booty round 2 + Flex

- FB Strong 2

- Random Strengh FB Plus 2 week programs

I've increased weights steadily as well, which is great. However, sometimes during hikes, when going downhill, I still experience IT Band pain. I believe i may need to do more exercises for my hips (such as clamshells, bridges, side leg raises, more pilates band work).

If you have any workout/program recommendations that include those exercises for IT band syndrome or just to continue strenghthening for the trek, that would be great! Or any experienced trekkers that have any other good tips i would appreciate it :)

Thank you!!

PS: Ive also done 10 day trek in Anapurna, Nepal... but i didn't need to carry a heavy pack since i stayed at "hostels" in different villages along the way. This coming trek will be my first where i have to carry all my essentials
