Breathing properly in total body/combo exercises

Does anyone else struggle with aligning their breathing the right way in some of the combo exercises, so that you're always exhaling on the 'difficult' part? As an example: say you're doing a Squat + Overhead Press. For the squat, you're supposed to inhale as you go down then exhale as you go up, then for the overhead press you're supposed to exhale as you push your arms up and inhale as you come back down. So either you have to pause to take an extra breath (or to breathe out) in between the two exercises, which always feels awkward and unnatural to me, or do the breathing the 'wrong' way for one of the exercises. There's a few of the combo moves that are like this, and it always throws me. Is it just me?
