If I don’t feel sore, can I keep working out?

I’m on day 16 of FB strong 2 and it’s meant to be recovery day since day 15 was strenuous. I don’t feel sore. Can I do another intense workout? I don’t always feel sore after my workouts. But it doesn’t mean I can lift heavier because I’m still building strength.

My question is, if you don’t feel sore can you just keep going? Or could you still risk over training and hinder results? I workout a lot 5-6 days 1 hour strength/resistance and 1.5 hour walking a day and I still can’t shift this layer of fat (1-2 inches is what’s left).
