Hey everyone! For the last couple of years I've been dealing with pain in the ball of my right foot whenever I flex or bend back my toes. This makes lunges impossible for me. I usually substitute forward or reverse lunges for Bulgarian split lunges to take the stress off my foot, or limit them to a step during cardio workouts. However, I haven't yet come up with a sub for curtsy lunges. I was wondering if you guys could suggest any other variations or alternatives to lunges that might help me avoid the pain. I find that a lot of lower body workouts have multiple types of lunges, and so it's hard for me to adapt them to my needs without doing tons of Bulgarian split lunges. Thanks in advance for any help you guys can give!
