FB Strong adding in HIIT/Cardio

I have been doing FB Burn for the last few months (round 1 twice, and now round 2). I'm looking to switch things up a bit and do FB Strong but I'm worried about losing my cardiovascular endurance, and quite frankly I LOVE HIIT! Has anyone successfully added in HIIT or mid-level cardio with this program? And if you have, would you mind sharing how you did it?
