Wrists won’t let me plank…

Hi everyone! I’ve been using FB for years, but in the last year have developed carpal tunnel syndrome and have a lot of pain with push ups/planks. Plus my physical therapist told me to avoid them after I complained about increased discomfort after doing a body weight strength routine with lots of planks.

My question is, what do y’all who have bad wrists do instead of these exercises? I can’t do tall planks or push-ups, as mentioned before, but tricep dips and anything that puts a lot of pressure on wrists/palms is also out. I’m just so bad at thinking of something to substitute with while I’m in the middle of a workout that I end up sitting that round out and not getting a good workout.
