Seeking genuine conversation/suggestions about managing periods and workouts routines

A Q to all the ladies. What's your personal experience with managing your periods and workout routine. I'm following FB programs and every month I have to reschedule the workout days until after my cycle which is usually 6-7 days. I cannot workout at all during my first 3 days, not even 3/5 intensity. I feel incomplete not able to complete the program in an orderly manner.

I'm curious how you all manage this. Do you still do any light weight workouts (suggestions are welcome). How much break do you take? Do you start back from where you stopped the workout? Or restart all over?
