Nothing has worked and I’m overwhelmed!

I gained 5lbs out of nowhere this past fall. At the time I wasn’t working out besides a 30isg minutes core yoga video program. In November I joined a gym and added vigorous exercise to my routine. In the beginning I was only doing cardio and realized I needed to add in strength training. I’ve done a mixture of the two for months now and haven’t dropped a single pound. I e tried various types of meal plans but have received various estimates/advice on what my intake should be. After 4 months of no results I’m about to pull my hair out!! My arms are slightly more toned, and maybe my legs and butt but not a significant change. There is no change in my flabby stomach. I’ve don’t too much research about various workout routines, meal plans, etc. and am about to give up. In a dream world I’d lose up to 10lbs but I will settle for 5. Any thoughts on which program to start with? This is going to be my last ditch effort
