Stairs (complete!)

I posted the other day about my zero motivation to take the stairs in the métro station. https://www.fitnessblender.com/community/discussion/25131/stairs

I was wearing "formal" uncomfortable shoes for work. An excuse for not taking the stairs? Hmm, maybe...

So, today I go to the Décathlon store to pick up my 8 kg kettlebell. I'm wearing comfortable pants and sneakers and deciding to "climb" those same stairs at a slow and steady pace (bodyweight and one step at a time, not two by two as I thought I could). The trip way up (80 steps) was fun 😄

The trip continues. This time it's weighted. I take the métro again to go back home: 20 steps up here, 20 steps down there, 40 more steps up here, etc. I hear and feel my heart beat baamm baamm baamm... I'm slightly out of breath mostly because I have my mask on my face.

I don't workout today because I'm still super sore on my lower body from Wednesday's workout. This one https://www.fitnessblender.com/videos/total-body-toning-strength-and-hiit-cardio-workout-you-vs-you

But climbing those stairs with an 8 kg kettlebell (alternating hands) feels like I'm doing a level 3 strength training with an interval cardio woven through.
