2 programs at same time/alternating weeks

Wondering if anyone has worked through two different programs, alternating weeks, or even just random days at a time? Now that the weather is warming, I will be spending more time at our cabin, where I only have 5lb dumbbells. I am out here now and started Bodyweight2, and will get the first full week in before I go home. I'd like to continue with BW2 every time I come out here, but start a different program (Strong) for when I am at home, with more weights to choose from. If you have done something like this, I'd love to hear about it! I just want to complete a program, instead of restarting every time!
