Is it okay to switch off days?

I just signed up for 8 wk FB Fit Round 2 and love it. My question is, is it okay to switch-up when I take off days?

Sometimes I feel like I have tons of energy on an off-day, like it's come to soon, and I'd rather do some low-impact cardio (or whatever the alternating workout is to the day I've done before. Like, if it was lower-body yesterday, do something different today.). Sometimes I take an off-day sooner than scheduled (like if work gets in the way or if I just don't have enough energy). But then this might mean 2 days later I have a "scheduled" break that I don't feel I need.
