Knees popping/cracking

Hey all! I am new to working out after 2 kids and a long hiatus...I am noticing that my knees now pop and crack with every workout. They are not in pain...but they are constantly cracking with every squat and bend. Is this something to be concerned about? Do I just need to get back into it? Or will they just keep cracking but it's NBD? Thanks so much for your help!
