Noticing better sleep since working out (tougher workouts)

I have noticed that I sleep so much better at night after doing a really good pretty intense workout. Although it can't be too late in the evening, or I can't sleep. For me there is a sweet spot of "time" to workout and I sleep so much better if I do a nice HIIT video or intense strength training workout! Does anyone else notice this? Of course before bed, it's also nice to wind down with a nice stretch but the more intense workouts earlier, I sleep like a baby!! :)
