Your experience with taking some time off

Recently I had a bout of depression that resulted in me not working out at all for two weeks. Before this I worked out 4-5 times a week, plus a couple of walks here and there, and had a very well rounded routine. I always took restdays seriously, so I don't think I was overtraining.

I have never taken more than a week off working out since I started in 2016.

So, I am now back to working out, but I do feel a little weaker and not as motivated. I am qurious to know if you guys have experience taking a couple of weeks off and starting out a little less in shape than you were. How did you feel physically and mentally? I'm finding it a bit tough and would just like to hear from someone who has gone through something like this. I know I'll bounce back, and probably quite quickly, but still.. It would be nice to hear from you :)
